Cadet College Age Calculator
Date of birth in, honest answers out: which colleges' publishedage rules your child meets, computed from each college's own cutoff date — with the colleges that publish no number told as they are, not assigned one.
The direct answer
Cadet colleges do not check a birthday-year — they check the age on a named cutoff dateof the admission year. A child born in March and one born in May can sit on opposite sides of the same rule. Enter the date of birth below and the calculator turns each college's published rule into the exact birth-date window that passes for your target intake year.
The calculator works without it — the 2027 windows are shown below.
Cutoff dates move with each year's notice.
Every college's own admission notice overrides this tool.

No age rule published — the notice decides
These colleges' public materials do not state a numeric age window, so none is invented here. Their entry classes are real; the age row comes from each year's admission notice.

Rules quoted from each college's page on this site, sourced from the colleges' published admission profiles — last verified October 2026. Notices move cutoff dates year to year; the college's own admission notice for your intake year always overrides this calculator. Age is verified against documents at registration — an ineligible form is a fee paid for a guaranteed no.
Frequently asked questions
How is cadet college age eligibility calculated?
Colleges measure the candidate's age on a named cutoff date in the admission year — for example PAF College Sargodha requires candidates to be over 11.5 and under 13.5 on 1 January, and Cadet College Kohat requires 12 to 14 on 1 April. Enter the date of birth and this calculator derives the exact birth-date window each published rule allows for your target intake year.
Which cadet colleges publish an exact age cutoff date?
Among the colleges whose public admission profiles state a dated rule: PAF Public School Sargodha (over 11.5 and under 13.5 on 1 January, no relaxation), Cadet College Kohat (12 to 14 on 1 April, with six months' extra for Hafiz-e-Quran candidates), Cadet College Mastung (11.5 to 13.5 for Class 7 and 12 to 14 for Class 8 on 1 April), Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls and Girls Cadet College Turbat (12 to 14 on 1 April). Other colleges publish a numeric range without a cutoff date, or defer entirely to the year's admission notice.
My child is a few days outside the window — can they still apply?
The published windows are enforced strictly — being under-age is as disqualifying as being over-age, and age is verified against documents at registration. Where a rule is written as 'over' or 'under' a bound (Sargodha's), even the boundary day itself is out. The only authority is the college's own admission notice for your intake year, and its admission office answers age questions directly.
Does the age calculator use my child's exact age?
Yes — it works in years, months and days on the college's own cutoff date, all computed in UTC so the result does not depend on your device's time zone. For colleges that publish a range without a cutoff date, the tool says so and uses a clearly-labelled reference date instead of presenting a guess as a verdict.
