An answer key that teaches, not just marks
Every answer in the key carries its method — the working shown, the rule named, the reason the trap is wrong. Two examples straight from the paper:
Q: 3/4 + 1/8 = ?
The denominator 8 is the LCM of 4 and 8, so 3/4 becomes 6/8; then 6/8 + 1/8 = 7/8. Adding the tops straight across is the trap the wrong options catch.
Q: Complete the series: 2, 5, 8, 11, ___
Each term is 3 more than the one before it, so the next term is 14 — checking the step in every gap, not just the last one, is what makes series questions reliable.
How to use it like the real test
- Print the paper (or open the print view) and sit it in one go — the real test does not pause.
- Give yourself about 90 minutes. Keep the phone in another room: the whole point of a paper is that nothing buzzes at you while you think.
- Do not check answers as you go. Mark only what you are unsure of, then keep going — the real paper gives you no feedback either.
- No calculator. Work every sum on the paper, including the ones you can do in your head.
- Mark it with the answer key afterwards, then write down the topic of every question you missed. That list is your revision plan.
