Guide Overview
1. Overview of Female Cadet Colleges in Pakistan
For decades, cadet college education in Pakistan was predominantly for male students. However, starting in 2017 with the establishment of Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls in Sindh and Girls Cadet College Mardan in KPK, followed by Girls Cadet College Quetta in Balochistan, Pakistan opened full military-style boarding education for female cadets.
These institutions combine rigorous Federal/Provincial Board academics with physical fitness, sports, leadership training, and co-curricular discipline — preparing young women for leadership roles in medicine, engineering, civil services, and the Pakistan Armed Forces.
